Bruce is currently training at Fabri in all aspects of drawing office practice, which involves him producing mechanical and electrical AutoCAD drawings, including schematics, P&ID’s and detailed layouts. He also provides general assistance to Senior Engineering staff which requires him to carry out document control and maintain the QA/QC system.
In addition, Bruce assists in the design and project management on petrochemical engineering projects involving mechanical and electrical design.
Bruce has worked on additive systems, fire protection, safety systems, terminal upgrades, storage tanks and instrumentation development.
Furthermore, Bruce is responsible for drawing office management on BP UK, Shell UK and Fabri Projects and he has assisted in site inspections of hazardous area electrical equipment to IEC 60079.
Bruce is currently studying for an NC in electrical engineering at Stow College in Glasgow.
