Junior EC&I Engineer with Fabri Consulting Engineers since 2018.
In 2021 Luke completed his modern apprenticeship for Installation & Commissioning Engineering a year ahead of schedule. During the first year of Luke’s apprenticeship, Luke was awarded apprentice of the year nominated by his lecturers at the college. Since completion Luke is further expanding his engineering qualifications through a day release university course for BEng (Hons) Control & Instrumentation Systems, which is on track for completion in 2024.
In addition to Luke’s external training, Luke also receives internal training on a regular basis covering a wide range of subjects with regards to the Downstream Oil & Gas sector and is not solely focused on EC&I work, allowing Luke to have a better overall understanding of the industry in which we operate in.
Luke is responsible for supporting the EC&I department with feasibility studies, engineering calculations, detailed designs, cost estimates and EC&I drawings. In addition to this Luke is responsible for the development and implementation of the asset control / handover procedure and process supporting the Shell UK projects.
Luke has worked alongside senior engineers on terminal upgrade projects for a wide variety of clients in the UK and internationally.
