Working as a specialist consultant to complete a tank engineering study for the installation of double walled 'cup' tanks complete with external floating roofs and rain covers (geodesic dome roofs).

The study made allowance for new crude storage (10 of 70,000m3 tanks) and new gasoline storage (2 of 30,000m3 tanks) complete with the following deliverables;

• Tank design to German TRGS standards and international standards

• Tank data sheets and 3D design drawings

• Design calculations (heat loss, level settings/capacity, sizing and venting)

• Firefighting philosophy and sizing calculations

• Operating & control philosophy

• Design basis

• Plot plan and hazardous area modifications
