Our Mechanical Engineers and Designers utilse AutoCAD Plant 3D to develop detailed 3D plant designs.
Not only is 3D modelling a useful design tool, but it is invaluable when it comes to providing Clients with a visualisation of conceptual designs, prior to onsite construction.
The 3D design information is compatible with other commonly used software packages, and is used to assist in Stress Analysis calculations, as well as provide Line lists, Equipment lists and Isometric drawings.
In addition to the 3D modelling aspects of the software the software has AutoCAD P&ID functionality that helps users to create and edit piping and instrumentation diagrams and reconcile underlying data with the 3D model.
Existing sites can also be surveyed to provide 3D plant 'as built' solutions.
As with 'green field' 3D modelling, the 3D survey information is compatible with other commonly used software packages, and can be used to assist in Stress Analysis calculations, as well as provide Line lists, Equipment lists and Isometric drawings.
