2024 Summary
2024 has brought Fabri many challenges, maintaining work with our existing Client base and further expansion of our Clients across the sector within the UK (refer to the updated client page), lots of interesting projects throughout the year from feasibility studies to full multidiscipline designs.
Fire fighting projects have been a big part of Fabri’s portfolio through 2024 with projects from almost all our clients, for foam change over, pump replacement / upgrades, tank replacement to completion of firefighting strategies, gap analysis, water / foam calculations and full system hydraulic simulation. The works we have successfully completed feasibility / FEED studies for will hopefully move forward to full detailed design and execution within 2025.
In addition to Fabri’s typical downstream oil projects within 2024 Fabri have seen an increase in green projects from rain water recovery projects, solar lighting requirements, supporting with sustainable fuel introduction projects such as SAF, HVO and GTL but also looking at Hydrogen introduction projects in conjunction with other consultancies that we work closely with.
The completion of another very well received ISO9001 external audit in November this year with a clean bill of health and highly complementary audit on the quality management system and commitment to ensure Fabri keep providing the highest quality of work and commitment to our clients.
The end of the year brought the customary Christmas party with this years venue the Griffen bar & restaurant Glasgow. Unfortunately not all could make it for various reasons, however prize for best excuse goes to Steven, who was not allowed to attend as he was getting married the day after (congratulations to him and the family ). But everyone who could attend had a great time.
From all at Fabri best wishes for 2025 and we look forward to seeing what it brings.
