A new customer to Fabri for 2024, Okios Storage Ltd are strategically located on the River Thames estuary. Oikos are committed to continuous growth / development and import, handle, store and deliver a range of bulk liquid products for its customers.

With the existing site fire pumps nearing end of life and future development opertunities available to the terminal for the current water storage lagoon areas, Fabri where engaged to perform a detailed feasibility study to replace the fire storage and pumping infrastructure.

The project included:

• Identification of standards and compliance
• Identification of alternative on site storage location options
• Pump sizing requirements with consideration for future development plans
• Optimisation of the system including mechanical / EC&I tie ins
• Integration into site fire fighting SCADA system
• Early supplier and contractor costing
