Peel Ports
A new customer to Fabri for 2024, Peel Ports one of the UK's largest land owners requested support from Fabri for the following projects.
QEII Dock Fire Protection
The QEII dock is located at the entrance to the Manchester Ship Canal on the river Mersey. The site is a multi-user import facility that can service oil tankets up to 50,000 DWT for fuels and chemicals offloading.
The site have an existing fire water pumping system located offsite and looking to replace the aging infrastructure allowing a self-contained system located on the site.
The project aim was to identify the requirements for the site to comply with ISGOTT Sixth Edition “International Safety Guide for Oil Tankers and Terminals”, providing the required pumping and foam capabilities for the berths.
A gap analysis and Feasibility where completed for the site to provide them a list of requirements to comply with. This followed with a detailed scoping document to allow Peel Ports to tender the project to D&B contractors.
