The terminal is looking to increase the storage capacity and offloading infrastructure to enable two road tankers to deliver product simultaneously.
Phase 1 of the project is the enabling works. The current Bridger tankers gantry approach road is located in the proposed location of the new storage tanks. As such existing pipework and gantry cabling supply was rerouted over a new pipe bridge allowing the Bridgers to utilise an alternative route and free up the required space for the new storage tanks.
Fabri worked alongside Q-Tex Ltd to deliver the project with Fabri responsible for the design and Q-Tex responsible for the management of the main project D&B contractor / end user (North Air) and management of the installation contractors scopes.
The project was successfully delivered in 2024 with phase two planned for commencement in 2025.
