Thermal Relief Analysis

Fabri can assess the effects of liquid thermal expansion in piping systems to ensure design compliance with BS EN ISO 23251& API 521 for new and existing installations.

Our analysis identifies locked in sections of pipework in no-flow conditions as part of normal operation by the closure of hand or automated valves making recommendations on how to safely release the pressure through installing correctly specified (API 520 / API 526) thermal relief valves or amending existing operating procedures as appropriate.
