Trainee Cad Technician

We are currently looking for a Trainee CAD Technician, to be based in our Glasgow office, in a full time staff position.

Successful candidate will be involved in a variety of interesting Design Projects, both UK and worldwide, with the opportunity for excellent career progression.

Working with Fabri you will be part of an experienced team, working with our international blue chip Clients, within the Downstream Oil sector.

Role Summary:

• Learn all aspects of the office environment;
• Obtain a working knowledge of the Fabri quality assurance system;
• Assist design teams with project packages for issue;
• Assist Mechanical & EC&I teams working on multi-discipline design projects;
• Actively pursue further professional development with the support of internal Learning and Development / External day release collage attendance.

About You:

Successful candidates should have:

• Standard grade or equivalent level Math’s & English;
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
• Basic knowledge of Auto cad software (qualifications would be an advantage but not essential);
• Ability to communicate with clarity;
• Willingness to pursue further professional development;
• Eligible to work in the UK.

The salary for the position will be a competitive trainee salary subject to agreement.
